poortenga
Suddenly, google drive is no longer available to import from and I get the error message above. I need this to bring images in from other apps. Please HELP!
emmrecs01
Hi, welcome to the Affinity forums. Is this not a question for support at Google Drive? I assume you are trying to access Google Drive to import images to either Photo or Designer? If so, do you do this by using File>Open? Can you access your Google Drive in any other app? Staff Leigh Posted March 10, 2018 Staff Share Posted March 10, 2018 Just to confirm, are you using the desktop or iPad version on our app(s)?
poortenga
I have an ipad pro. Google drive works perfectly with other apps. It worked fine with affinity photo and then suddenly stopped this week and gives me the above message. This seemed to happen after your last upgrade
poortenga
I would try to reinstall affinity photo but I am afraid they will recharge me and that I might lose images off my ipad

Just go to you purchased tab and click download. poortenga
I reinstalled affinity photo. This did not help with google drive but did allow me to see photos app again. I reinstalled google drive. This fixed the problem. I did not lose any data but affinity photo seems to have forgotten the thumbprints of the files showing on google drive so I have to reference the actual file by number. Is there any way to have affinity photo rescan my files so the thumbprints show up again?
Staff Leigh Posted March 13, 2018 Staff Share Posted March 13, 2018 It seems the thumbnail is generated after it's loaded into an app. I also get the same when using Apple's Pages.
