coleman cox
greetings, second post here. new to Affinity designer. Trying to figure out how to make a triangle into a logo that I designed with a lower quality software. I'm attempting to make two longer sides of a triangle curve inward at the same time and same proportions, so its symmetrical. Can anyone help me? I've at frustration level. thanks! Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @coleman cox. I don't think you can do this (or at least not easily) with the Triangle Tool, but it's fairly straightforward if you use the Polygon Tool and set the number of sides to 3. When you draw a shape with the Polygon Tool, the red control point on one of the sides allows you to change the curvature of all the sides by the same amount. Once you've attained the desired amount of curvature, press the 'Convert to Curves' button on the Context toolbar, select one of the vertices at the base of the 'triangle' to reveal its control handles and Alt-click on a handle to remove it; select the other vertex at the base and Alt-click on the control handle to make the base completely straight.
