There are times when I think that AD gets 'tired'. I sometimes find that when I have been using it for several hours and opening, closing and modifying files it doesn't respond quite as well. In particular it becomes difficult to select an object without having to do it in the layers panel. When this happens I have to close all the files and restart AD then it it is OK again.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of thing?

If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed!

Hah. I think there is only one application I use that I can leave open all day. The rest of my daily software all get tired. So I try to shut them down periodically, usually timed around breaks. This is pretty easy for me as I am often enough jumping from one client to another, one larger project to another at times through my day.

Other than layout, most all my design work I can do in chunks, though. They are relatively simple designs that get brought into layout software.

Speaking of getting tired, I think I get tired as much as the software I use!
