@Barry_Edmiston

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Good point, I will see about adding an improvement request if it is not already there

For an infrequent user with an almost-square image, this could create problems

This is described in the tooltip.

There is an error in Barry's Resample checkbox description.

In my Win version this is fine, see the picture. Buttons are also swapped.

I think that the swapped buttons is an OS convention. The checkbox is wrong agreed

@Barry_Edmiston What Display settings are you using? Also, what hardware are you working with? I'm struggling to reproduce that offset checkbox issue. I've also logged the fact we're missing tooltips on the Mac version for the W and H fields.

Sorry, I meant what display settings are you using on your Mac. I wasn't sure if you were using a Retina display or something. What is the model of the monitor you are using? Do you have any scaling settings set on your Mac preferences?

But it would be damaged/unjustified systematically. But Barry has some items aligned.

OK then @Pšenda what do you think we need to ask to resolve this misalignment we cannot replicate?

It seems to me, that there must be a problem with those particular not justified items.

Maybe in interaction with settings, monitor type, driver, etc, but something specific to those specific ones must be.

So we are asking about that sort of thing to try and replicate it on our hardware, as it does not happen to everyone. I am suspicious of the actual font that we use for the tick, perhaps Barry has a different version than us, and it has a spacing problem. Seems like a long shot though, It's more likely to be something that we can do on our machines.

Description "Resample" and "Automatically" are aligned to the same position. As if they were aligned to the left side of the checkbox instead of the right side. Something like RTL problem.

Hey Barry_Edmiston, what version of the app are you running? The General section in Preferences seems to be missing a few options from it:

- Save thumbnails with documents

- Enable "Save" over imported PSD files

It looks like you may be using an old version or the dialog has truncated. Please go to the App Store and update to the recent build.
