mjneedles
I have some photos, mostly sepia or b/w, that I've scanned. The prints are on textured paper, looking kind of like a honeycomb. I have not found an easy way to remove this texture. Anyone have an idea? If it's necessary, I can attach a sample. Thanks! Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Matt. You can remove a regular pattern very easily with the FFT Denoise filter, which you'll find on the 'Filters > Noise' submenu. You just need to paint over the bright spots on and around the axes in the filter window that pops up when you choose the above menu option. I'm sure I've seen a tutorial video demonstrating the method. I'll try to track it down for you if you're struggling to get a good result.
