carl123
Here's a macro that uses Equations to create a "long shadow" effect. Originally designed for text but works on shapes as well. Use any colour for your text or object except black The shadow depth can be increased by immediately running the macro a second or third time (or more) Shadows are created in groups, so you can change the opacity of the Group to control the shadow opacity Could probably have created a macro using power duplicate commands to get the same effect but Equations are cool so would like to see more effects created by people using them The Equation is about as simple as you can get and is shown below x=x-1 y=y-1 shadows2.afmacro Gnobelix 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
Gnobelix
Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, I didn't understand that with the equations Quote Affinity Photo 2.4: Affinity Photo 1.10.6: Affinity Designer 2.4: Affinity Designer 1.10.6: Affinity Publisher 2.4: Affinity Publisher 1.10.6: Windows 11 Pro (Version 23H2 Build (22631.3447)
