Hi, I have just joined the website. Up to now, I have used Gimp rather than Photoshop, but having seen Photo Affinity was wondering about trying it. My first question is, do you need to have used Photoshop first, to be able to use Photo Affinity? I noticed in one of the articles I read about PA, that you can use some stuff from Photoshop. I am taking that as not being possible for me if I don't have photoshop in the first place? I obviously don't want to buy it, if there is no point, so would be grateful for any advice from anyone. Welcome to the forums

You should be fine with the app despite not using PhotoShop in the past. I recommend downloading the free trial available from our website

You are better off not to have used Photoshop.
