1.6.3.100 Photo Export Persona Problem Configuring Path Name

I'm not sure which beta introduced this, but I see the problem in 1.6.3.100 and do not see it in the released 1.6.2.97.

Open a file, then switch to the Export Persona, then switch to the Slices panel. Then click on the circle/triangle to get the dropdown that lets you configure your export options.

Click on the file name to configure additional properties, or on the path box. On the resulting popup, choose any variable in the table, click on it, and start to drag. The entire popup box disappears, leaving you no place to drag the variable to.

Additionally, 1.6.2.97 will accept a pathname in the Export Persona containing the \ character, but 1.6.3.100 won't.

In the screenshots below, the prepended path information is Walt\AExp-E\ for the top export (jpg) and Walt\AExp-F\ for the bottom export (tif), which was accepted by 1.6.2.97 and worked, but was rejected by 1.6.3.100.

As long as you're digging around in that code, you might also take a look at this topic which may show another Windows bug in that area, though not one that is related to the Beta.

Edit: No, the other topic does not show a bug; just my misunderstanding of the interface. Though perhaps some enhancement of the help file would be beneficial

My guess: because they are relative paths, not absolute paths.

Hi Walt,

Would you be able to attach a file that is giving you a problem with the path name please? I've just tried myself and build 100 is quite happy to accept path names containing \. I can't reproduce it

Today, I can't report it either, though it was quite consistent the other day. Sorry.

If I do manage to recreate it I'll save the file and upload for your examination.
