Onkei69 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Hi there, I am eager to start working with Affinity Photo for Windows, but my camera (Canon 800D / rebel T7i) does not appear on the supported camera raw list. Has anyone tried to process a raw file from it, even if it is not on the list ? If it is not supported, will the next update support it ? When will it be scheduled ? Best regards, Onkei
v_kyr Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Did you tried it? - The cam is among the supported dcraw cam list (Canon EOS 800D / Digital Rebel T7i / Kiss Digital X9i ), so there are chances it might already work. If not you have to wait for the next Affinity Photo for Windows update which then probably will address some more new added cam models etc. here too. ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
Staff DWright Posted February 16, 2018 Staff Posted February 16, 2018 Hi Onkei69, I have tested RAW samples files for the Canon 800D / rebel T7i camera and the current Windows version of Affinity Photo will import these images.

Onkei69 Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 Actually, the raw files from Canon 800D / rebel T7i are not well processed : colors are dull and difficult to bring back (compared to Digital Photo Professional - Canon raw processor). (examples in attached files). Seems like I have to wait for next update. > Digital Photo Professional (Canon Raw processor) > Affinity Photo
UkeyD Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 Hi, just wondering if the update is due anytime soon? My raw images from Canon 800D are also dull when imported into Affinity Photo. Thanks for your help UkeyD
Danke!
