Affinity Photo - Delete path from an already active selection

Hello everyone,

I apologize for my bad english. I just want to make a question:

When I create a new path with the pen tool, is it possible with some shortcuts to delete that path from an already active selection?

In attached an example of what I mean.

I hope it's clear...

Here's a solution, but without shortcuts:

 

In the Channels panel, right-click the Pixel Selection thumbnail and pick Create Spare Channel.

Draw the path and click Selection button in Pen Tool context toolbar to convert the path to a new active pixel selection.

Again, right-click the Pixel Selection thumbnail and pick Create Spare Channel.

Right-click thumbnail of first Spare Channel and pick Load To Pixel Selection.

Right-click thumbnail of second Spare Channel and pick Subtract From Pixel Selection. 

 

 

Thanks for the answer @owenr I'm already using this method, but I'm looking for something faster.
