Export removes transparency

Recommended Posts

I've tried exporting a project in three different ways.

The project consists of a quickshape with transparency applied on the bottom layer

And various photos and text on the upper layer(s)

Using the export persona:

png format, the quickshape background exports as intended with reduced opacity

jpg format, the quickshape background exports as intended with reduced opacity (attached)

Using the export option in the file menu

jpg format, the quickshape background exports with a darker background, i.e. 100% opacity (attached)

I appreciate that it might have been better to get the colour right than to reduce the opacity on the quickshape, but it did give me exactly the colour that I wanted.
