momsthewordus
I'm using the trial version of Affinity. One of my favorite features of the design program I am used to using is the ability to drag objects off the screen, but still be able to see and manipulate them. It would take a long time to explain why I use the feature, but I use it a ton. So far, I can't see a way to do that in Affinity. Is it possible? Do I need to switch modes or something? Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @momsthewordus. Which Affinity app are you using? In Affinity Designer you can turn off the 'Clip to Canvas' feature, but there is no equivalent to this in Affinity Photo. momsthewordus
Thank you, Alfred. I'm using Affinity Designer, and that was exactly the help I needed. I put "Clip to Canvas" in the help menu search bar and figured out how to turn it off. I was really hopeful that this program would be a good replacement for Illustrator (because I can't afford to pay for the subscription for the two programs I need). Without this feature, it just wasn't going to work for me. Things are looking up! So far, so good. Thanks for your help.
