Paekke
Hi what are these boxes I see in outline mode?.. Also the paintbrush in pixel persona makes all these small boxes as well, and I'm not painting, just moving the brush around. Funny they only appears in one side of the canvas. Staff MattP Posted February 16, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 16, 2015 Hi Paekke, They're caused by bitmap areas (bitmaps just show as boxes in outline view) - they aren't always invalidating themselves properly so they occasionally appear a bit strange - particularly when just moving the paintbrush tool around without drawing... Really sorry about that - I'll try to get it sorted soon :( Thanks, Matt
Paekke
Thanks for the FAST answer, not that I needed it fast, but still nice :) would also be nice to be able to switch off the bitmap boxes in outline mode.
reminous
Hi there... I miss one cool feature from CorelDraw... It shows bitmaps on Wireframe mode, the picture turns into an phaded grayscale. It is the best way to draw over scketchs or vectorizing logos. That way you focus are on the task and not on the image itself. The colors are too busy sometimes. You also dont need to worry about your current the path color and weight. Ofetn see myself changing the bitmap opacity to mimic the CorelDraw effect either in Illustrator or AD. That would be a cool feature if ever implemented... MattP
Hokusai
Reminous, I haven't used CorelDraw all that much and I never noticed that feature but that sounds like a good, useful feature. +1 Hokusai reminous
