I recently downloaded a new version of the software (I lost my old computer), but I can't open my files. Can you help me? The book is almost overdued... The answer, by the way is that the starter edition (in your screen shot) cannot load PagePlus X9 documents. You need to reinstall PagePlus X9, probably downloadable from your legacy account.
