Hello,

I did not yet find a solution to reduce all layers to background (pixel) what I am used to do in Photoshop. Without this reduction I can not use the desired pdf-File in a scan recognition program. Combining the layers and reducing the document does not work.

Do you have an advise?

Go Layer > Merge Visible.

That makes like a single photograph layer of what you see (visible layers). All shapes and text will be turned into pixels, which is what you want, I think?

The original layers are not affected.

You can also go Document > Flatten, which does a similar single pixel layer thing but it deletes all the layers in the process. Use with care !

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

@slaterousJ

Do you not get the following dialogue when doing a File > Save (CTRL+S)?

Edit: Looks like @slaterousj deleted his post, question to him no longer relevant
