I was playing around trying to get Artboards and Bleed to work.

Create a one up document and everything is fine.

Create a two up document

Group and output as a selection.

And it all goes pear shaped.

Anybody got any ideas ?

Hi Toltec,

Please could you go to Document Setup > Bleed and make sure all the values are the same? If that doesn't solve your issue would it be possible for you to provide the file in question?

Thanks

C

Hi Callum

Well, I've been trying but it wont apply 2up or 3up imposed pages and bleed.

If I put artboards side by side, "bleeder1 and "onethird" it applies bleed if I output the whole document, each artboard as individual pages. If I select them or group them, it outputs the artboards imposed, but it never applies any bleed. It just ignores it.

I tried to output as a landscape document "landscape" but for some reason, it did not like that at all and refused to impose the artboards at all.

I am not even sure if it is supposed to impose artboards and apply bleed but it would be a kickass professional print feature if it did (speaking as a former litho printer). At the moment it is only useful for visuals.
