Hi,

We aren't seeing that problem here - as far as we can tell, when "Touch for Gestures Only" is enabled, the pencil still works fine.

Are you certain you are using 1.6.7.73? The version number is shown in preferences (bottom right corner).

Thanks,

Andy.

Yes, I just double checked and I am running 1.6.7.73. After playing around with things a bit more I think the problem may occur when I have "Allow canvas rotation in all tools" and "Touch for gestures only" enabled at the same time. If I disable one of them it appears to work as expected. Would be nice to have both enabled though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The initial dot being created by brush tool reported on last version by another tester is still there, but only using Apple Pencil, no extra dot when rope stabiliser selected. IOS 11.3. AP 1.6.7.73.

Just read other post, I also can confirm problem is something to do with these settings as suggested, defect occurs with settings as shown. I also found a second bug based on these 2 settings, where the paint brush draws straight lines even though I draw a curve.!

Selection problems identified in 1.67.72 also evident in 1.67.73 (beta 5).

As the screen recording shows, selection with selection brush works correctly with canvas rotation off and does not work properly with rotate canvas on. The rotate canvas seems to introduce a 'delay' into the brush setting similar to colour picker. If you touch and hold for a few secs the selection wil actually begin to work.

I'm encountering all kinds of issues related to exporting files.

Basically after the file has 'Generated for export' and I hit 'Ok', it gets stuck at a white screen. This has happened with TFF, and JPEG exports.

It seems somewhat random too. Sometimes it goes to the expected 'Choose where to export screen', and sometimes it just freezes on a blank white screen (requiring a hard close and restart). The good news is that the files retain all changes, so I just try again, but it is frustrating.

This behaviour is also present in Release Candidate 1
