2on2out
Hi Looking to get some help with the color replacement tool in Affinity. I will cut this player out of the background and place on a banner however, I need to know how to rid the dirt. I try the color replacement tool click the foreground and cannot get the color correct to replace it ends up being purple or not the same as the pant color. THanks for your help. Cedge
Sometimes cheating a little is the best approach. Since the pants are already gray, use the magic selection tool and select the pants. Then give the selection a heavy dose of negative saturation (HSL adjustment) to make things monochrome. Dirt goes way and a little blue on the paint brush will bring the blue stripe back. No muss no fuss and you're done.
toltec
Wouldn't it be easier to cut him out completely? I used the Selection Brush Tool, then you can put anything you like behind him. 2on2out
Hi Yes this is what will be done but I wanted an easy way to take the dirt off the pants we sell the photos of the players to the parents after the banner is finished and the moms don't want dirt on the pants. Thanks
toltec
Ah, I see, little angels and all that Sorry, I misunderstood. Try these settings Be careful where you first click with the brush! And, don't brush, keep clicking Needs a bit more time spending on it but it will all come off in the wash Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
