jacki3wrfsef
When I tap the share button in the "Photos" app, I should be able to copy the photo straight into affinity photo.
Staff MEB Posted February 6, 2018 Staff Share Posted February 6, 2018 Hi jacki3wrfsef, Currently you can do it as long as you don't have a file already opened in Affinity Photo. If you do have one you have to close it first before using the Share button from a third party app. I already logged this. Maybe we should copy the file to the Welcome Screen in background or close the (currently) opened file automaticaly and open the new one shared/send by the third party app. In any case this is already with the dev team for consideration. DM1
Meb, I think hr refers to iOS photos sharing directly to Affinity Photo, which it does not (currently) do. Jacki3.... You can drag and drop images from photos to AF when they are open side by side which achieves same thing. Paul Mudditt and jacki3wrfsef 2 M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
