Error Message: "An error occurred while exporting to"

Recommended Posts

I am having an issue with exporting a file as a PDF file of any type. At one point the PDF export included strange characters for text, now I am not able to export the PDF at all. I receive an error message that says "An error occurred while exporting to:"

I have even tried to export to an external hard drive.

hi there

I have a similar problem. The export of a PDF with the settings "for web" works. With the settings "for print" I get the error "Fehler beim Export in …".

Thanks for any help.

Hi kaenp,

Thanks for the file. The cause of this issue seems already fixed in the latest Beta (1.6.1 RC1) which you can download from here in case you want to give it a try. Just remember to keep the retail version installed otherwise the Beta will not run. Alternatively just wait a little more for the next retail update.

I have the same issue. The export of a PDF with the settings "for PRINT" brings the error "Fehler beim Export in …".

But where I can see why there is an error? and where?

Perhaps you can enable the logging, and see if the logged information provides a clue?
