synkrotron
Hiya I'm new here (just posted a large rambling reply in the introductions topic). As I said in that thread, I just do abstract stuff... I ain't a real artist Here is an early experimentations with patterns:- And this next one is something I have done for my music project. It consists of a logo which I originally created in AutoCAD and the middle background is a flame fractal that I created in JWildfire:- cheers andy stokerg and Alfred
Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Andy. 8 minutes ago, synkrotron said: I just do abstract stuff... I ain't a real artist There are plenty of people who just do abstract stuff but don’t shrink from claiming to be real artists! Both of your examples are very nice, and I’m looking forward to seeing more. (I’m particularly interested in flames and fractals, but I hadn’t heard of JWildfire until now.) synkrotron 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)

Well worth checking out if you want to experiment with flame fractals. cheers andy
Alfred
Thanks, Andy. Chaotica looks promising: I’ve already played with Apophysis quite a bit, although not recently, and I also have Flame Painter by Escape Motions. In any case, JWildfire requires Java, so I wouldn’t currently be able to run it.
