Ephox
Hi, I recently wanted to update my Affinity Photo program to the newest update. So I just installed it the key I had, knowing I bought it online. But when it comes to installing it, it asks me to insert the CD, which I clearly do not have since I bought the online version. It do not ask me for the key, but the CD only. I really don't know what to do about this. Even when I want to uninstall the current version, it is asking me for the CD and there is no other options. If anyone know how to fix this, it would be awesome.
John Rostron
Have you tried browsing to the location of your installation file? Hi Ephox and Welcome to the Forums, Is Affinity still showing as installed? If so uninstall it using Programs and Feature in Control Panel and once uninstalled: download the latest installer from the downloads page on your account here: https://affinity.store/account/downloads/ Once downloaded, run the setup and it should complete. If it's not showing as installed, just download from the above link and run the setup. As you've had some issues with a failed installed, it wouldn't hurt to right click on the download and select Run As Admin, just to make sure it's not a permissions issues somewhere in the background
Ephox
Hi Stokerg, Like I mentioned, I tried uninstalling it from the control panel, and it is still asking me for the ''CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available''. In anyway, I cannot uninstall it.
