I remember Apple doing something like this in the beginning of their store. Would be real convenient for me to be able to have my license in the store. The Microsoft Store is managed by Microsoft itself not us. Among other things, they receive a percentage from all sales they do, to cover maintenance, updates costs etc. So even if we could do it, they wouldn't receive their part and would still have these expenses.
