Subclavius Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I apologise if this is covered elsewhere but I haven't been able to find an existing thread. I edit monochrome documents i.e. B+W a lot. When working with a document in colour then Affinity Photo has no problems displaying the usual colours for masks, selections etc even when a B+W conversion has been done. However, when a document is set to monochrome from the beginning, then all masking, selections etc is displayed as a shade of grey. Sometimes, depending on the background this can be difficult to see on screen and I find it it especially difficult with clipping warnings (a group with special blend modes I have set up to replace the inexplicable absence of the buttons in the Photo persona). I was wondering if it is possible to continue displaying masking, selections, clipping warnings etc in colour for monochrome documents? Quote
Staff MEB Posted January 30, 2018 Staff Posted January 30, 2018 Hi Subclavius, Welcome to Affinity Forums As far as i know currently there's no way around this, sorry. Currently it works as it was designed/intended. Maybe one of the developers can comment or consider it for a future improvement. I know other users already raised this issue previously.
