Working with Photos from 360 camera

Newbie query...

Does Affinity Photo for iPad work with 360 photos taken with Samsung Gear 360 (original model - 2016). When I tried opening the pictures, it was showing up as 2 images like in a binocular. And there was stick marks and other artefacts when I tried using the Equirectangular projection mode.

Hi Sangee and Welcome to the Forums,

The iPad version does work with images from the Samsung Gear 360.  Once you've opened the image, you'll need to enter Equirectangular projection mode to see the image in 360.  You can then use the different tools to clean up the image.  Stick marks and other artifacts are normally down to how the device was held or positioned when the image was taken.  I know in the samples files i tried, the only real issue was the stand/stick of the device but a quick use of the inpainting brush soon removed that.

Would love to see what the finished article looked like. Does it require a special viewer?
