jstnhllmn Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Hello, everyone. I dove in and bought all the programs. Now, I have a 'best practices' inquiry: How do I set-up the artboard so that the white dirt on the 'K' (a texture file) is actually erased (a layer mask? a clipping ask?), allowing the pink circle to be visible? Sorry - I am completely befuddled by this. prinses 1 Quote
Staff MEB Posted January 27, 2018 Staff Posted January 27, 2018 Hi jstnhllmn, Welcome to Affinity Forums To do what you want you just need the texture (white background with the texture dirt in black) clipped to the text. Then select the texture layer (pixel layer) and go to menu Layer ▸ Rasterise to Mask. That's it. Check the sample file attached below - select the texture layer and go to menu Layer ▸ Rasterise to Mask. You will then be able to see the green background through the letters, sample_texture.afdesign jstnhllmn 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
jstnhllmn Posted January 27, 2018 Author Posted January 27, 2018 I want to cry, that was so easy. My thanks. Namaste! Quote
