Bad_Wolf Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Hello all, I have a problem with importing an image (jpg or png) into Affinity Photo. It is the first time I am using Affinity Photo because normally I do everything in Designer. However, this time I have to change a photo. When I import a photograph into Affinity Photo the whole photo is yellowish while the original is not. I do not know what to do to remove the yellow overlay (that is how it looks). Can you tell me what I did wrong and how to correct my mistake? I will appreciate your help very much. Wish you a very nice day and all the best. Chris Quote
Bad_Wolf Posted January 26, 2018 Author Posted January 26, 2018 Hi again, I just found my mistake. When starting a new page, inside the dialog at "Profile" a color profile "OpticFilm 120" was automaticly choosen. I did not change this and therefore was unaware of these setting. I was more looking on a layer on top of my image, which I could not find. Can you tell me if I want to correct a normal photo in jpg or png format for the screen, which profile I best choose? Maybe it is better to "Open" a photo instead of placing it in a document. I really need a course on Photo like I followed with Designer. Wish you all the best. Chris Quote
Bad_Wolf Posted January 27, 2018 Author Posted January 27, 2018 Last night I bought a Udemy course about Affinity Photo (Solid foundations), which hopefully will prevent me from asking stupid questions like the one above. Anyway I am now on lecture 3 and already learned a lot about Photo. I should invest more time in learning thouroughly instead of trying to figure everything out myself. I appreciate the Affinity range very much and will surely buy Publisher when it comes available. I can hardly wait. Quote
