ChristAlix
Maybe like this? You can change the pressure and line type afterwards! Line.afphoto
uncle808us
Yes I'm aware of this but I want a brush not a curve if you are doing waves in cartoon water you end up with maybe a hundred or more curves. Dave Vector
@uncle808us to answer #2, using a digital pen, use the Vector Brush Tool, go to the Stroke Tab, Properties... In the Brush shape window choose a Size Variance, (the variance dropdown should be set to Pressure), and in the brush context menu bar at the end choose Controller: Automatic. Is that what you were asking? As for #1, I could only get the Vector Brush Tool to be tapered at both ends if I set a pressure profile like @ChristAlix did in his example, and drew the stroke with a mouse. As soon as you use a digital pen, the pressure setting kicks in and it appears you cannot turn it off. As a compromise, perhaps with the stabizser set correctly (blue check mark at the top, center of my image above), you can get the control you need for your waves of cartoon water?
