Polygonius Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 If i set an anchor-point anywhere in a layer - i can turn/angle this layer around this anchor: This "point" keeps its XY-position. I want a similar behavior for resizing a layer: The anchor point holds this pixel at this XY - position, does not matter how far i resize, this point keeps at this xy in the "canvas". How to do? Staff MEB Posted January 24, 2018 Staff Posted January 24, 2018 Hi Polygonius, Set the rotation centre point where you want on canvas then press and hold ⌘ (cmd) and scale as usual or use the Transform panel to scale the layer. Polygonius Posted January 24, 2018 Author Posted January 24, 2018 Thanks MEB, works very well. Except sometimes the selection "jumps away" if hitting the object with this modifyer near a guide-line. Without modifyer this behavior does not happen??? Quote OSX 12.5 / iMac Retina 27" / Radeon Pro 580X / Metall: on! --- WWG1WGA WW!

Thanks for mentioning that (again)! I keep forgetting that feature exists, even though the Status Bar tells me "⌘ to resize around the center" when I put the Move Tool pointer over a bounding box handle on the canvas. So now, I just need to remember to check the Status Bar from time to time. Just another consequence of being I guess.
