Call for Camera Images

I’ve always LOVED! the output jpgs out of my Canon 6D and it literally never got recreated in any raw developer, i always had to spend hours tweaking it. Affinity color literally does look like the « Adobe Color » camera profile they have… Bland, and affinity lacks « camera-matching »

I hope this is why you guys asked for the images! :))

I’ll send some soon, if this is even relevant today

I don't understand what Affinity intends to do with images from Canon Cameras. JPEGs from Canon will always have baked-in "picture profiles" with lots of adjustments and filters like saturation, contrast, unsharp mask, etc, especially in default settings. Affinity's RAW engines ignores the picture profiles completely (only basic settings like ISO, exposure compensation, white balance from exif data are used), and does not apply any sharpening in Develop Persona.

So Canon out of Camera JPEGs will always look totally different to Photo Develop Persona (flat colors lacking saturation, flat contrast, blurry by not sharpened).

Unless Affinity starts to read the picture profiles and applies the settings in Develop Persona, the results are almost useless.
