cardi777 Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Hi - love affinity softeware :) i realise that the smart object issue is a biggy and lots of work is needed Was about to commit to your software when i realised it was rasterizing all the smart objects. Its the only thing that is really stopping me from using it Is importing photoshop smart objects going to be a 2018 thing? Can you give any time frame? Need to be able to open images as smart objects from camera raw within Affinity Photo (whether they be psd files or raw files developed by Affinity camera raw - thus be able to go back at any time in the future (today or next year and alter our camera raw settings as well as all other settings covered by camera raw. i.e. blur, noise removal etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Medical Officer Bones Posted January 29, 2018 Share Posted January 29, 2018 I believe at this point in time only three image editors are able to import PSD files with smart objects intact: Photoshop, PhotoLine, and PhotoPea (online editor).
