Drag PNG onto open photo-> then adjust size...

Recommended Posts

In Photoshop a common process I do is have a photo that I drop another onto and then size and place. For example, maybe it's a picture of a furnished room, and I drop a picture of what is to represent a wall hanging. So in PS I would drop a ping on, resize it and press teh enter key and then place it.

That process does not work the same way at all in Affinity Pro. Is there a way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?

Any pointers appreciated.

Works the same here when the select tool is active instead of the hand tool. Alternatively you can also use the File->Place... menu entry.

In Affinity Photo, go File > Place, find the file you want to add and click on the top left of where you want the image to start. Drag to size and release the mouse.

Done !

See the "Place" pointer, bottom right of new image.
