CarolofHollis Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 CraftArtist2 (longtime user) has a wealth of "styles" that I want to import to APhoto.....can I do this? Many thanks Quote
Staff Callum Posted January 12, 2018 Staff Posted January 12, 2018 Hi CarolofHollis, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately it isn't possible to transfer Craft Artist Styles to Affinity. Thanks Callum Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Alfred Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 You should be able to use the settings in the Graphic Styles Editor in CraftArtist to figure out how to recreate each style in Affinity Photo, but I imagine it would involve a lot of work to do this for more than just a handful of styles. v_kyr Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Well I don't know that app and thus if it deals with bitmaps or vector etc. here. However if it can export let's say PNG (for bitmaps) or SVG/PDF for vector, then you can maybe try to export some of those styles used in documents and then (re)import those into APhoto/ADesigner and make new styles out of those. CarolofHollis Posted January 12, 2018 Author Posted January 12, 2018 Yes, I could use the settings from CA2 to re-create the styles in AP but......I would be ready to soon kill myself.....I think the tinker/hacker route is more appealing....will let you know. I have so many great styles in CA2. What is needed is more RPM (read programmers mind). Your suggestions are excellent. Quote
