Paul Kwan
Affinity Photo does not have a preview of photos when the program opens. That makes deciding which photo to open not an easy task. It would be a much better way to manage and develop photos if there is an interface much like those of Lightroom and On1 PhotoLab. Since post-processing softwares deal with images, a preview of images to facilitate processing would be better than just file names. I wonder why you don't have such a interface. It would be nice to see it implemented.
John Rostron
If I set the View preferences for a folder in Windows Explorer to show large icons (thumbnails), then these appear in the window when I open a file, just as in Explorer. For Windows, I personally find that a largely satisfactory solution, John. Of course, it depends to some extent on having an appropriate codec installed (by the user) to supplement the file types that Windows Explorer automatically knows about. walt.farrell
That other thread helps only with .afphoto and .afdesign files. What about previews for .psd, or various raw formats, or any of the other many file formats that Windows won't preview by default? Pšenda
"Affinity Photo does not have a preview of photos when the program opens." Preview of other (non native) formats is not a matter of Serif. There is no reason to require them.
