Shift button on mac vs windows ...does it do the same thing

Recommended Posts

if you mean the shift key on the keyboard, note that there is a preference setting in the Tools section named "Move Tool Aspect Constrain" that sets the constraint behavior to one of three modes. "Automatic (based on selection)" assumes that some items (like pixel & image layers) would normally be constrained & others not. The other two options are self-explanatory.

However ... there is no need, that you take the Serif-Suggestions as "its so"!

You can re-acces all keys and modifiers and combinations as you want.

The only problem is to find/jump to the action you want, The search-box just support "entrys" in the default-box, not

"looking for shortcuts".

But except this and this strange cmd+j instead osx-wide cmd-d for duplicate... by default...windows/mac are quiet similar... (ctrl ) ctrl and alt = alt.... just cmd has another name...)

But however you can re-tweak to whatever you want. Nearly all Menu and some other stuff set to whatever you want.

I prefer to do not right area of my keybord., cause my right hand will not leave the mouse...

So most of MY shortys are more in the area i can reach with left-hand only... but do as YOU want!
