Neil Dahl
Affinity, When I Resize Document image to a new size 2.8 inches X 3.8 inches and export as a png or JPG when I reopen the saved image it's size is 11.5 inches X 16 inches. Why can I not save the image as a smaller size? Neil
Staff Sean P Posted January 10, 2018 Staff Share Posted January 10, 2018 Hi Neil, Could you try unticking 'Embed Metadata' when you export and then reopening the image. Does that retain the size? PaulAffinity
Dave Quail
Hi Guys, I have just tried this on Beta '98, and I don't have this problem. I have exported both Jpg's and Png's with Embed Metadata on and off and AP exports to the size I specify. Neil Dahl
Sean, Thank you so much!!! Unchecking the metadata box fixed it. I have tried over the past week over 100 attempts!!! What was happening is the pixels would be right but if one checked the Inches then it reverted to 11.5 inches X 16 inches, and if one tried to print it it was 11.5 x 16 inches. Now if one opened the exported picture in another program... Studio 6 or photo shop 7 it was the correct size in pixels and inches and printed properly... but I purchased Affinity to only have to use one program. Sean, Thanks again for the solution and quick support response!!! Neil Dahl Sean P
