Can’t save file with history on iCloud

Recommended Posts

When I export an Affinity file on iCloud, I just loses its history. Can’t find a way to keep it. When I reopen it, it’s the file without the history. If I instead duplicate it within the app, it maintains it if I select that option. I am new to the app so probably I’m doing something wrong.

Is it possible to export the file WITH history to the cloud?

Use Save a Copy instead and select Save History. iCloud appears in the Save list so should do what you want.

As I understand it, Save a copy stores a copy of the AP file in a location of your choice. You can then reload this copy at any time.. If you don’t do Save a copy, the file is  'only' stored within the AP app. If you delete the app you lose the file.
