Overlaying an image on another?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me here. I don't know the technical term for what I'm trying to do, so I'll try my best to explain it!

Basically I have a photograph of my car (jpg) and I have a design file (afdesign) of a logo I've created. I'm trying to, if possible, overlay the logo on the panels of the vehicle to mock up what it would look like if I had it made as an advertising decal/wrap. I can insert the image, the easy part, but is it possible to twist/contort the logo so that it looks like it follows the angle/curve of the body panel?

I have the Designer Workbook, but obviously not knowing what the technique is called makes it a bit difficult to find it!

Thanks

Pui

In AF take a look at the video tutorial sections which deal with transformations, the warp, perspective and liquify tool etc.

In AD those transformations are limited since warping etc. is not directly available there.
