Sabapepe Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Hello, I am new to Affinity Photo (just installed the trial version today) I want to select/isolate from a shallow depth of field photo, the in-focus subject of the photo from the out of focus background and copy and paste the selection into another image. To do this in Photoshop CC, I use the 'Focus Area' Tool. Is there a 'Focus Area' Tool equivalent in Affinity Photo and how do I access it? Thank you very much? Quote
Staff MEB Posted January 7, 2018 Staff Posted January 7, 2018 Hi Sabapepe, Welcome to Affinity Forums No, currently there's no similar tool/feature in Affinity Photo. You have to use the existing/regular selection tools to create the selection manually. I'm moving this thread to the Feature Requests section. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
