R C-R
On Macs (but maybe not on Windows?) you can also assign a keyboard shortcut to show/hide the Left Studio. I use the ` key for that & keep the Macro & Library panel in the Left Studio so I can use those panels only when I need them. Also, you do not have to have any panels in the Left Studio -- you can float them or combine them in grouped tabs in the Right Studio. You can also double-click on a tab group or floating panel's name to collapse it to just the name(s) header so it occupies almost no screen real estate until you need it. Clicking once on the header expands it again. mdemrs 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
toltec
Is there an option called left studio on a Mac then ? I can't find that option on a pc but of course you can set a shortcut for each of them which hides/shows the panels, albeit separately. Quote Windows PCs. There are separate items in View > Studio for the left & right studios, as well as the Hide Studio item which hides both of them: mdemrs 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
toltec
OK, thanks. Us PC users don't have these luxuries Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
R C-R
True, but you do get something many users would consider much less a luxury than an important or basic feature, that being interacting directly with the display if you have a Surface PC. killzen
you can assign a key combination in setup as I have in image below... Quote Light travels faster than sound. That's why someone can look bright until you hear them speak.
