How Can I Hide the Macro Library Panel

Recommended Posts

On Macs (but maybe not on Windows?) you can also assign a keyboard shortcut to show/hide the Left Studio. I use the ` key for that & keep the Macro & Library panel in the Left Studio so I can use those panels only when I need them.

Also, you do not have to have any panels in the Left Studio -- you can float them or combine them in grouped tabs in the Right Studio. You can also double-click on a tab group or floating panel's name to collapse it to just the name(s) header so it occupies almost no screen real estate until you need it. Clicking once on the header expands it again.

Is there an option called left studio on a Mac then ?

I can't find that option on a pc but of course you can set a shortcut for each of them which hides/shows the panels, albeit separately.

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

Yes. There are separate items in View > Studio for the left & right studios, as well as the Hide Studio item which hides both of them:

True, but you do get something many users would consider much less a luxury than an important or basic feature, that being interacting directly with the display if you have a Surface PC.

Hi kViro,

Welcome to the forums!

If you go to View > Studio you can toggle elements of the UI on or off :)

Thanks

C

That did it. Thanks for the tip. As a long-time PS user, there's a bit of a learning curve for AP -- but I'm getting there.
