Simon Blackwood Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 Hi, I've been using CS6 for quite some time, and have been looking at this Affinity with some interest for a couple of months. I decided to take the plunge and bought a licence. I must say, I've never had trouble downloading and installing anything before, until now. I'm not computer savvy. I switch it on, and use it.. However, today I get this following message each time I try and install Affinity. Item installation failed: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.3 Error code: 5100 Setup will now exit. I've tried running as Administrator. I've shut the computer down and restarted. I've ensured nothing is running in the background. I'm using a Toshiba laptop on Windows 8 I have external hard drives so that the computer isn't full. I have loads of memory.
