turnandshoot
Hi guys, It's probably been answered before but I cant find the answer. Does Affinity have a way of connecting both apps from iPad to Mac and allowing you to edit using the Apple Pencil? I basically want to use my iPad as a Wacom tablet whilst editing with affinity. I do already know about the apps you can buy to mirror the desktop but that's not what I'm looking for. After a few weeks with the iPad app, I'm sad to say I just don't like it like I thought I would. Thank you!
Staff MEB Posted January 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted January 4, 2018 Hi turnandshoot, Welcome to Affinity Forums No, Affinity Photo (or Designer) doesn't support this natively. There may be third party apps that allow this but i'm not aware of any. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
turnandshoot
Hey! Didn't think so, I think that should definitely be something Affinity add in a future update. Maybe team up with the Duet Display guys! That would be the end of Photoshop for most! Thanks for the reply!

Duet Display seems to be designed to provide a second display, which (as you've said) is not what you're looking for. Have you considered Astropad? turnandshoot
Yeah it does, but only today did I realise that it also allows you to use the Apple Pencil. Don't you hate when you answer your own questions after airing them to the world! Ha! Yeah, Astropad looks great! Thanks for that!
