Colin Coe Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Hi, I can create a macro consisting of Resize and forming a two pixel border with no problem on my laptop but it will not go into the library. I have created the same on my desktop computer and every thing works OK. both computers are on windows 10. Any Ideas. Colin C. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted January 5, 2018 Staff Posted January 5, 2018 Hi Colin, Welcome to the forums. When you click on the Add Macro icon, do you get the pop up window with Category option and a Name field to fill in? Have you tried exporting the macro from the macro panel and then import onto the library panel? Quote

I thought a single macro exported from the macro panel can only be reimported to the macro panel and then saved in the Library from there Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, are you recording the macro on the laptop or trying to import an exported version of the desktop one into the Library on the laptop? I assume it is the former but have you tried the latter to see if that works? Either way, what specifically happens when you try to add the macro to the Library? Which button are you clicking in the Macro panel, what if anything happens when you do, etc.? Staff MEB Posted January 5, 2018 Staff Posted January 5, 2018 Hi Colin Coe, Welcome to Affinity Forums Have you stopped the macro recording (pressing the stop button) before trying adding it to the Library? You can't do it while it's still recording. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
