gergobergo
Hello Guys, I have a small problem. I imported a PDF file, what I made previous in Adobe Illustrator. The document size is standard A4. The problem is the background colour. I don't know why but It became a bit brownish instead of white. If I open a new document, I is white. Any idea? If I put a white rectangle on It, It blends to the BG so I think It would be some colour space issue. Thanks Gergo
Staff MattP Posted February 13, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 13, 2015 Hi Gergo :) Are you using the Mac App Store 1.1.2 version of Affinity Designer by any chance? If so, this issue was found and fixed in the beta some time ago. It's basically a bug in the colour management of the Mac App Store version which will be fixed in an update soon. In the meantime, if you wanted to try out the beta version that will hopefully work as expected for you :) Let us know how you get on! Is there an issue with the exported file too, or It is only in the editor? I wait for the update. Do you have any news about the relase date for the new version? Thanks Gergo
Staff MattP Posted February 13, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 13, 2015 Hi Gergo, We're nearing the point of submitting an update to the Mac App Store, but it is still possibly going to be about a month before an update appears... The problem only exists in the final stage of presenting the document's rendered image to the screen, it's not going to be there on any output you create, but all your colours could look slightly wrong, not just white... The beta fixes this and is generally very stable and has many more features and bug fixes, so might be worth a try if you're interested? (we would never release a beta of questionable quality - in fact, I only ever use the beta version at present) Thanks again, Matt
