jf_maier Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Hey guys, i have missed to download the freebies (epic skies) from the latest update (affinity photo for Mac). Nevertheless, I decided to purchase the epic skies pack from uplift. When I tried to import the "epic skies adjustments.afmacros" ) file to affinity photo the macros a text appeared that tells me "imported new library categories". However, the adjustment tool or the macro is not shown in my library. Any suggestions how it can be shown in the library? I would appreciate any help Thank You Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 29, 2017 Staff Posted December 29, 2017 Hi jf_maier, Welcome to Affinity Forums Go to menu View ▸ Library to display the Library panel in case it's not visible. You should have a category there (probably the last one) named Uplift - Epic Skies - click the small arrow on its left to expand it and access the macro. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
jf_maier Posted December 29, 2017 Author Posted December 29, 2017 Hi MEB, Thanks for your reply. The library panel is displayed but the category uplift epic skies is not displayed although it is imported Quote
R C-R Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Are you certain there was a file named "epic skies adjustments.afmacros" included with your purchase? On the Uplift web page there is no mention of a file by that name in the "What's Included" tab, just the items shown below: Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.5.7 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
jf_maier Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 yes the file was there but I am not able to use it Quote

If so, it should include instructions for installing the afmacros file in Affinity Photo, which should be mentioned by name. There also should be an "Uplift-Epic Skies-Overlays-EULA.pdf" file in the same location, which explains the licensing terms & also mentions Serif & Affinity by name.
