can't paint on quick mask WIN 7 v 1.6.2.97

Recommended Posts

that should be the correct way, Works o.k. here.

could you make a screenshot of the setting used?

did you use the shortcut B to switch tools, if so it could be you pressed B twice and selected the color replacement tool.

I make a selection and add Quick Mask but I can't refine the selection using paint brush...white or black will add to mask rather than subtract.

Painting with white paint on the quick mask to add to the selection (clear area)

If i paint with black, it adds to the mask (removes from the selection)

I just opened the photo again and it worked...I think it has something to do with attempting to change brush size with keyboard shortcut because what I was doing was actually changing the color and opacity when I opened the color panel I could see that I wasn't painting with black.

I have another post I just replied to with screen shots of what I get when I use Ctrl + Alt +Left mouse button...Ctrl + Alt + Right M5a467daf5e59b_PhotoDec2990933AM.thumb.jpg.a5c16a05c274596a597eaf61b6f047d3.jpgouse Button does nothing
