Scott Prock
Greetings! I have an .ai file that I want to copy/paste into an Affinity Designer document I am working on. After pasting the grouped object I can't select it at all. The layer is not locked. I have noticed that every layer inside the group is showing as curves. I can select individual nodes, or even drag and select all nodes, but I can't move nor resize the whole object. I can select and move all the objects in the original .ai file just fine. It's after I copy/paste it into the Affinity doc that I can't I have attached the file as it is currently. Please advise, thank you ... toltec
That is odd. I can select the group (click once with the Move tool) and move it as a group. I can select the internal objects individually (double click) and move them. I can also select either the group or the internal objects on the layers panel and move as a group or individually, respectively. The objects inside the group show as curves. That is normal. Affinity Designer 1.6.1.93 Windows. Try resetting Designer by holding down Control (win) when launching until the Reset dialogue appears. Make sure the first three options are ticked and press Clear,.that might do it. Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
