[AD] Highlight of group is less than for a layer

Recommended Posts

I'm assuming this is a bug as I can't see any reason for this.  It's been in effect for many versions.  When a layer containing children is collapsed and one of the children is selected it's fairly obvious which layer the selected child is in.  But when a group containing children is collapsed and one of the children is selected it's very hard to tell which group the selected child is in.  With a dark UI the problem is less apparent because not only is there a weak highlight but also the expand triangle has a circle around it.  In the light UI the shift between the groups which do not have the selected child is smaller and there is no circle around the expand triangle.

The color of a layer containing a selected child is:    R 206   G 218   B 229  for light UI or  R 61   G 79   B 102  for dark UI

The color of the unselected group or layer is:           R 226   G 226   B 226  for light UI or  R 57   G 57   B 57   for dark UI

The color of a group containing a selected child is:  R 220   G 223   B 227  for light UI or  R 58   G 64   B 71   for dark UI

As you can see the shift of color is much smaller for a group containing a selected child than for a layer containing a selected child.

Please make the color shift to highlight a group to be the same as that for a layer.
