southeastwilson Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Hi, I'm having issues when exporting a PDF to print. The bounding box (not sure if that is proper name) of each image shows in the print. In my case the background layer is all black and upon printing the box for the images shows up as slightly lighter black. Viewing it on the screen I can't see it. It's only apparent when I print. I'm new to AD so I'm sure I'm just missing something but I've tried everything I can think of and I've searched the forum to see if anyone else has this issue. Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 21, 2017 Staff Posted December 21, 2017 Hi southeastwilson, Welcome to Affinity Forums Can you please attach a sample .afdesign document with this issue so we can take a look at what's going on? You can delete all the other objects that are not relevant to the issue at hand. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
MikeW Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 It's a flattening artifact. Your printer is having difficulty with transparency. Quote
southeastwilson Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 Not to worry. Thanks for the responses. I downloaded the trial AP last night and applied what knowledge I currently have with other software and that seemed to do the trick. I'm sure I'll purchase it today. MikeW, I wondered that same thing. Thanks all!!! Quote
