Hi asi17,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

The document provided above (snowflakes.afdesign) is a regular native affinity designer document. There's nothing to import them into by default. You can simply copy/paste the snowflakes to other documents. If you do want to store them somewhere in the program for easy access/re-use later you can add them to the Assets panel. Do the following: go to menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Assets to display the Assets panel. Click on the small menu icon on the top right of the panel and select Create New Category... and give it a name - for example Snowflakes. Select all snowflake objects on canvas or in the layer's panel then click the small menu icon in front of the category you have just created and select Add from Selection. All snowflake objects will be added to that category in the Assets panel. To use them in any document simply drag them from there to the canvas.

Adding the snowflakes as Assets seems straight forward enough.... only thing I find not great, is the snowflakes on the light gray background barely show up... it'd be cool if one could control or set the background color somehow to 'see' the assets better. Just a thought.
